This policy explains what Eternalight collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
ETERNALIGHT INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED operates this website and is the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at contact@eternalight.in or +91-8438308022, or by post at the address at the end of this page.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information: what you type into a form, and what analytics tools record automatically as you browse.
- Information you give us
- When you submit a contact or enquiry form we collect your name, work email address, phone number, company name (optional) and the description of your project. We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any special category data anywhere on this site.
- How you reached us
- If you arrive from an advertisement or a campaign link, the campaign parameters in that link (such as gclid, utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), the page you submitted from, and how long you spent on the page before submitting are stored alongside your enquiry. This tells us which campaign produced the enquiry.
- Analytics and usage data
- Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and interactions such as scrolling and clicks. Microsoft Clarity additionally records a replay of your session, including mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, so we can see where pages confuse people.
- Spam protection
- Google reCAPTCHA runs on our forms to tell people from automated submissions. It collects device and behavioural signals from your browser and is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms.
We do not sell personal information, we do not buy contact lists, and we do not run advertising pixels that build profiles of you across other websites.
Session recording, specifically
Microsoft Clarity records how you move through a page and lets us replay it. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into a form field is not captured in the replay, but the recording does show which fields you interacted with and how you moved through the page. If you would rather not be recorded, you can opt out using the controls described below.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project. Without this we cannot respond to you at all.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring us genuine enquiries, so we do not spend money on advertising that does not work.
- To find and fix problems with the site, such as a form people start and abandon.
- To keep automated submissions out of our inbox.
Where the law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent for analytics and session recording, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business for the information you submit through a form.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the business relationship they relate to, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the tools described above. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your enquiry and the information attached to it.
- Object to analytics by using your browser’s privacy settings, an ad or tracker blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Opt out of Microsoft Clarity session recording via the opt-out link Microsoft provides.
To exercise any of these, email contact@eternalight.in. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for it.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and audit logging to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Significant changes will be made clear rather than slipped in quietly.
